I stayed at the RIU hotel for 6 days, and during that time I personally didn’t have trouble using the restaurants. However, this place has some serious issues.
Not all the specialty restaurants are open every day, and you can only make reservations through the app. I only stayed for 2 days, and reservations open 2 days in advance, so by the time I arrived, everything was already fully booked. What made it worse was that the restaurants looked half empty, but the staff still wouldn’t accept walk-ins and kept saying reservations were app only.
So in the end, I was stuck eating the buffet for both days and honestly, it wasn’t good. The food wasn’t tasty, the menu was very limited, and I actually went out a few times to buy food. What kind of all-inclusive hotel is this if food is the biggest problem?This definitely needs improvement.
On top of that, the shower didn’t drain properly, and the hair dryer smelled like it was burning.
To be honest, I wouldn’t come back here again. If my friends ask me about it, I’d probably tell them not to go.
That said, all the staff were super kind and friendly, and the location was great.
And here beach so pretty.
