Lovely hotel & staff. We had an issue with our original room but were moved without issue. We had dinner in the lounge/bar which was good. Bar staff friendly. Grounds are lovely.

This is a lovely ‘proper’ hotel. The staff were so amazing and cared about what they were doing so much we went back for another night. Yes it’s a little faded in places but spotless and I loved that it wasn’t a modern carbon copy of every hotel out there. They are renovating and you can start to see what the vision will be. If you like the best service, huge comfortable beds, fantastic food , peaceful surroundings, feel welcome and as if nothing is too much trouble and don’t care that this beautiful house is a little tired then I can’t recommend it enough

Flitwick Manor is a lovely place to stay. The staff are all welcoming and friendly. The rooms are well appointed, very clean and beds comfortable. The food served is high quality and staff are attentive.

Our friends son’s room was dirty. He was moved to another room and that has bed bugs! He ended up sleeping in the car. The hotel is undergoing some refurbishment which it needs as the rooms and public areas are rather tired looking. On the plus side the staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant is good.

Very mixed review in that the location of the hotel is great the terrace is a wonderful spot to have a drink or some food. But our room was small and looked well passed its best, desperately needed to be decorated. Regarding the staff we were welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco which was lovely but at other times staff weren’t helpful or attentive.

We stayed here 14 years ago for a wedding and had a good stay, however this time whilst attending a christening proved to be such a disappointment. A very offhand, indifferent receptionist looked bored stiff when we arrived. No thought to help with luggage or being shown to room. It was a very cold day but no heating in hotel. None of the plugs worked in our room - same receptionist asked me to reach up to electricity fuse box switch, she then reluctantly brought ladders. Once electricity was back on she tried to dismiss it as a trivial matter. The wardrobe had an incredibly musty smell although we were informed our room had been recently renovated- the bathroom was nice, but the room looked uninspiringly dated and freezing, with a rock hard mattress. The stair carpet was ragged with bits all over it. The lounge bar was equally dated and cold. Won't be going again..we planned to stay 2 days but cut our visit short.

Room not that clean, amenities empty, bed squeaked on the slightlest move, Cobb webs all over the windows that only opened a little, so hot in the room could hardly sleep. Had to lug our luggage from America up the stairs. Chairs in sitting area dusty. No where was it made clear no elevator and a lot of stairs. Tripped over raised areas very dangerous. The young man who checked us in was pleasant. Girl who tried to help in the bar was nice, just seemed we were in of season .

Hotel was lovely. Staff fantastic and on the whole the room was great. My only issue at 6ft 4” was no shower and a bath under the slip of the ceiling. But that’s just a personal thing. This is the third time I’ve stayed and will be staying again.
