Amazing stay, but... First, the positives: Great location, very nice room, very clean and quiet, very nice breakfast and restaurant on-premise, and very excellent Staff. We especially appreciated the terrific service provided by Anastasia, and the restaurant staff were very helpful as well.
The hotel is located in an area very convenient to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum-- walking distance. It is located in a vibrant neighborhood with lots of bars and restaurants.
Now the "but": Be VERY careful when you book, because the hotel is very inflexible with bending their rules regarding cancellation fees and non-refundable fees. We booked for three days, but were delayed leaving home, informed the hotel, and arrived to stay there for two nights. Because we had originally booked for three days, we were charged for the day we were unable to arrive in time for. We planned on staying for another 3 following our cruise, but our plans changed and we had to return home to deal with a family emergency. We did not realize it, but in the fine print we had booked a "non-refundabe" rate for the second stay, and even though we had stayed there before the cruise, the hotel was not flexible at all -- we ended up losing three days of non-refundable room fees. That part was disappointing. So be VERY careful when you book with this hotel. They are unforgiving and inflexible when it comes to cancellations and/or non-refundable fees.
