When we arrived, the room we were assigned was on the second floor. Coming off the elevator, the strong smell of urine/feces was overwhelming. The carpets were stained & there was animal feces in the corners. We got into the room & it smelled worse than the hall. I literally could not breathe because it was so strong. We requested a different room & they told us there were none available. A few minutes later they said there was one room on the first floor that had “just been deep cleaned.” It smelled a little better than room 1, but was still very dirty, including poop on the toilet. At 10pm, we went to Walmart to buy a fan, air freshener and neutralizers. The walls are so thin you could hear the family beside us having a normal conversation and the dog barking. The beds have a flat sheet and a thin blanket. The rooms had 2 towels & 1 washcloth. When we requested more, the desk staff said they didn’t have any because they were in the laundry. We waited 45 minutes & asked again, they said to find a housekeeper….who also didn’t have any. When walking past the desk, the staff was complaining about “the annoying guy who keeps asking for towels.”
So my family, 4 people, all took showers with 1 washcloth and 2 towels.
We didn’t even stay the second night because it was so bad. I turned in the keys and left. It was AWFUL. We were clearly an inconvenience to them. The only good thing, was there weren’t bed bugs.
It is run down, overpriced and the staff is beyond rude. 0/10 stars
