Decent enough hotel that gives you everything you need at an affordable price. Good value for money but it’s not the most glamorous. Rooms and communal areas a little dated but to be expected with high volumes they presumably have of guests. Front desk service was great. Mature Rugby Supporters.
We were 4 mature Rugby supporters from Newport staying in Newcastle for a European Cup rugby match. We were looking for a hotel near the centre and this fitted the bill perfectly. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and perfectly adequate for 3 nights stay. Breakfast was very good and well stocked with the usual food from the continental menu or the English choice and you could have as much as you wanted. Location was easy to walk around city centre and 5 mins to central station.
