A perfect romantic retreat with restaurant and bar on the property. The staff is exceptionally friendly and fun. A modern rustic lodge vibe with a big stone fireplace lounge area, firepits outside, games, and hiking trails.

Nice location but very overpriced.
The hotel is in an amazing location. It also has some positive features -- e.g. the games that are available inside and outside. However, it is totally overpriced for what it is. Especially the food and service quality (although people are friendly) are not quite what one would expect at this price point. The feeling one gets is that the place is not very professionally managed.

The property grounds were spectacular!! Great hiking all around the hotel and nice ocean views. 5 star property with 4 star service. The restaurant service was a bit slow and confused. Overall, the staff was very friendly, but they just seemed a bit understaffed so they could not provide the service they would like to. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. Thank you for the nice stay. Also, the cove view would be 100% better if the bed was facing the ocean rather than facing the trees. It would be a simple fix to flip the bed and table to opposite ends of the room.

Beautiful location. Our room had no WiFi connection but hotel was able to move us to different room with better signal. Truly appreciate that service. Came here with kids and they enjoyed the board games and walking around the hotel grounds. Wished we were able to use the gym. On site dining had good food, especially liked the lavender butter w/bread, and pineapple sorbet.

Timbercove Resort is located in a breathtaking setting in an unpopulated part of the Sonoma coast.There were no other businesses around the resort so you are at least 30 minutes away from another restaurant. The common area setting was warm and cozy with food available at all hours and activities throughout the resort. The food was good, a 7/10. The staff provided great service and kept the place humming.
