This place certainly has a wonderful view, and a collection of quality artifacts in its interior. The stay was unfortunately a subpar experience. The washroom and the jacuzzi room do not have ventilation, and grow mold. Kitchen lacked tools. There was one bed in the room and the sofa is not a futon. While sleeping on the floor, a huge cockroach greeted me.
The most disappointing was the interactions with the owner. The owner was nowhere to find for 25 minutes in the check-in. He eventually appeared with excuses that do not add up. Our group had a reduced number of guests, so the prepaid extra fee was not applicable. The owner explained that the process must be through Hotels.com, so I applied it through the process. Hotels.com told me that they reached out to owner multiple times. Upon checkout, the owner told me that he did not receive any email, and reassured that he will make sure to refund. 72 hours passed, Hotels.com explained me that the owner did not grant the approval to the refund, and the request was lapsed.
