What a GEM! Tucked up in to the mountains above Rincon is El Oasis and the name does not lie. Wonderful hotel on a mountainside compound. The restaurant was a little pricey, but the food and drinks were amazing. Everyone on the property was friendly and helpful and the amenities were the best we found in PR. It really was a peaceful Oasis and I will go back again to stay for more than one night.

An amazing location—a true oasis of peace. The room has a beautiful ambiance, and the surroundings are very well maintained. I could easily spend the whole day just relaxing in front of the hotel. However, considering the price, the breakfast is nothing special—I’d say the price-to-performance ratio is quite poor. We had eggs and pancakes, and neither was particularly tasty. The passion fruit tiramisu dessert was also disappointing. On the positive side, the staff is incredibly friendly.
