Check in e out: ok nessun problema, anzi molto sbrigativi.

Hotel accettabile, prezzo contenuto

Simple hotel close to the metro
The map on the hotels.com site was wrong when we booked; we thought the hotel was much closer to town but it wasn't really a problem. There's a metro station less than 5 minutes walk away and a 1 week card for the whole metro system is only 15 lei (about £3). There's not much to do in the local area - one reasonable Italian restaurant and a few bars and fast food places. There's a huge hypermarket across the road and a shopping centre about 10 minutes walk away. The main road outside is noisy so make sure your room doesn't face the road if you can't cope with traffic noise. There is air con in the rooms which works reasonably well. Breakfast is fairly basic but there's plenty of it (but would like the option for more than one small cup of coffee. There's a chilled water machine but there were never any cups with it)

Not Good
This place is not where you want to be staying. Staff is unfriendly and not helpfully.
...just not centrally located. I prefer to stay walking distance to the center of town. From this hotel one would need to take the subway in to town.
Friendly, accommodating staff.

Use it only if you need to have a place to sleep in Bucharest!
The hotel is good if you want to just have a place to sleep. First of all, it's a two star hotel, not three star, like stated on Expedia. The room is very basic. The bathroom needs some repairs to take away the rust from the shower cabin and to fix the leak that happens every time you take a shower.
In our room the window was very little and very high, so the room was very dark.
The cleaning ladies are very noisy. They keep talking to each other on the hallways, which have an awful echo. You must be very tired to be able to sleep after 09.00 am, when they come around. They don't clean your room unless you ask them to and you leave them your key. They don't change your sheets or towels, they just fix them and take away your trash.
Breakfast is made of some items put together on a plate and served to you with coffee by a nice lady. Don't hope for breakfast buffet, it's not the case! The stuff speaks very basic English.
The hotel is very well located in the Militari neighbourhood of Bucharest, very close to the bus and subway stops. There is a huge Cora supermarket nearby and one of the big Bucharest malls 10 minutes away.
You get charged at the beginning of your stay. There are always random people in the lobby, just hanging out in there. In one of the evenings one lady was doing the manicure of a policeman in the lobby, which is quite an odd image to come upon in your hotel lobby.
Overall, the hotel is better than a hostel and alright for a two star hotel.
