This place is the ultimate stay. It defies superlatives. On first sight we booked an additional night and wanted to stay longer.It was like a designer dream home with ultra friendly staff and all the bells and whistles. Do not miss any opportunity to stay here. You will need a vehicle to get into town and around but ther is lots to see and do. A magical place.

Like stepping into a movie of our lives, we were welcomed into the delight of an open fire and underfloor heating to be wrapped in the warmth of Australian wool and friendship. Cocktails with supper in the evening and an elegant cooked breakfast have left us with memories of luxury and genuine care. I feel like it was a bit of a dream. We had a great stay at Stony Rise Lodge! We booked in advance and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the Executive Suite on arrival. The property is well appointed, comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast each morning. Special thanks to Donna, Dave, Ash and Roscoe for your hospitality and all the love and care that clearly goes into running this property.
