I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Palace Resort & Spa, Udaipur, and I regret to say that my experience was far from satisfactory.
Upon arrival, I was immediately disappointed with the room. The first room I was given had a terrible, musty smell that made it very uncomfortable to stay in. I raised the issue with the reception and no response for about 2 hours, and they moved me to another room. However, this replacement room was no better—there was no air conditioning working or heater, no good toilet flush, very dirty bathroom. The cooling system was completely ineffective, and the situation worsened when the hot water in the bathroom was only lukewarm at best and not working shower.
The lack of basic amenities like proper heating or cooling and nasty bathrooms were frustrating. When I brought these concerns up to the front desk, the response was unhelpful and dismissive. The staff didn’t seem interested in resolving the issues, and I was given no alternatives or compensations for the inconveniences. I requested early checkout and I was informed there was no cancellation policy, they were ignoring Expedia’s call since beginning of my stay, which felt very unfair as they don’t want to give refund for my remaining stay/early checkout or better service as we paid insane prices.
Overall, my stay was disappointing due to the lack of proper room maintenance, poor customer service, and a general disregard for guest comfort. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Thank you!
