8/10 – Sehr gut

Erfüllt voll den 2-Stern Standard, älteres teirenoviertes Gebäude mit Flair, ca. 3,5 m hohen Zimmern, ergibt gutes Raumgefühl, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht.

6/10 – Gut

We stayed for a dance competition and were greeted with the entrance full of mobility aids Even I felt young at 47! My daughter at 20 just got looked at like what were we doing there The same as everyone else staying in a hotel! Breakfast was something from when my parents had a guest house in the 1980’s! Room was up rickety stairs Room suited us for our needs but was very very hot with no fan at all and being top floor think it should have had one and been made a priority Was able to park right outside and pay for parking vouchers at reception which meant we could walk to the theatre Can’t really comment on much else as really only stayed 2 nights for a place to sleep Handy location

Single room was very small, but fine for 1 night. Location, very close to the beach, was good. Price was reasonable too

10/10 – Aussergewöhnlich

The lady on reception was friendly and helpful and our room was ready early so we could go to our room before 3pm. Lovely reception, bar and restaurant area. Very new but in keeping with the building. Great location. And parking at the old NCP car park a few minutes walk away just a shame its not up to NCP standards.

Clean room, a bit small but ok for a night's stay. The breakfast is served from 8.30-9.30 and offers continental and full English. The hotel is due a renovation but it didn't impact our stay.

Great location and value for money. Friendly staff and even silver service full breakfast at £9.95 Downs. Hotel full of elderly people with basic and dated decoration.

10/10 – Aussergewöhnlich

The staff, the location, everything was great! The only possible problem for some is the lift is so small (max 3 people)....though the age of the property means it can't be changed. This means that wheelchairs, walking frames etc have to be left downstairs. However the staff more than made up for it. We can't wait to return next month

6/10 – Gut

The hotel overall was good tho our room 309 was a twin and there was a musky smell in the room that was bad and the shower could have done with an upgrade . The ceiling tiles were blowing off when we had the window open and the wind was strong . Overall the bed was comfy , a fan was supplied and there was air conditioning in the entertainment space . The television too had good connection to a lot of channels .

I booked single room which was small, but it's expected. Room was clean. Hotel ia a bit dated with squeaky floors in places. Sleep quality unfortunately was very poor, sash window didn't provide any soundproofing and there were a lot deliveries coming at 6-8am that were very noisy. After check in I noticed that there are no towels in the room, so had to ask for them at reception.

The staff were amazing from the front desk Darcy and mum to the night porter, who could not do enough for us brilliant. Would recommend to all ages and jealous that we’re not still there. Carnival was great; only thing is if you’re down for this event next year, find parking first early, as it’s at a premiere. Massive shout out again to all. 👍😘

We rated this mainly four star as whereas it was clean and tidy and a good bargain. The room was a little shabby , threadbare carpet and Very cramped , my husband sight impaired was hard to navigate around . I did not like to sink in the main room & not in bathroom. Room looked felt very cluttered . Overall nice stuff for the money we paid if it was a perfect day and I would definitely stay there again. Might this time ring ahead and just ask him to bear in mind my husband is sight impaired so could we have a less cramped room clearer passage to the toilet, et cetera. Not so many obstacles.
