The AC didn’t work, only made noise. It was 100 degrees in the room. I left the place after 1 night and discovered later that day that $200 had been stolen from my backpack. I wrote to the property and the owner seemed adamant about solving the issue and gave me his number. He texted me back saying he’d check the security cameras. Then I never heard back from him.
I sent 2 additional texts with some specific information about when I had been absent from the room. No reply. I am filing a police report online. The cash was crucial to my trip and someone had gone into a small compartment, taken out the 2 crisp $100 bills and left the $1 and $5 so it wouldn’t be apparent I had been robbed. Very crafty, creepy and on top of that being ghosted by the owner. Absolutely horrible! Find another place to stay, I promise you you will regret booking this one. Awful!
