There are many positives about this hotel. The staff were OK and the location is marvelous, very close to the theater district.
The hotel is very close to the theater district. The breakfast was fine and worth the price. My wife and I recommend that you include this in your stay - the price for the breakfast is competitive. The main drawback was regulating the temperature of our room; we failed to be comfortable. First, and quite annoying was check-in. We arrived after after 36 hrs. of travel from the USA, about 30 min. before official check-in, and they would not let us check-in early without paying a fee. Note, that we were staying for 5 nights with a total price of approximately $1,500. The staff did store are luggage in a secure room and pointed out a place for a drink and a snack for the 30 minute wait. When we returned, there was a LONG line for check-in and the staff person must have been trained to be that SLOW. It took about 30 min. to finally get to our room. Frankly, not a great to treat customers spending $1,500 for a 5 day stay!
The room was either very cold with the air-conditioner on (no matter the settings) or very warm without the air-conditioner on. In addition, the air-conditioner made it difficult for my wife and I to sleep. The air-conditioner was noisy and blew air directly over the bed. We did not get 1 good night's sleep in the 5 nights we stayed at this hotel. Would we stay here, again - probably not.
