We have stayed at the Berkley multiple times. This past stay we was located on the 1st floor. It wasn't as quiet as our past stays. You could hear everything outside the door. If we stay there again I would request an upper floor room. The staff and the hotel are very nice.

Checking in and out was easy. Room was nice and service was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was good. Location was great. Room was clean. The building is old, decor was nice but needed some minor repairs/touch up. Great value for the money. Would recommend and would stay there again.

We spent 2 nights at the hotel (1 before our cruise and 1 after ) and the staff has been very friendly and accommodating. The pool is good but you very close to the beach and the services. A great place in South Beach. And also the girl at the reception was really helpful and got us an early check in on our way back 👍.

5 stars! Great location and service!
The complete stay was absolutely seamless. I highly recommend choosing Berkeley Shore as a place to stay when in Miami. Check-in was pleasant. I arrived early and was offered a place to change into my beach attire and was provided a beach towel. Then, I was pointed in the direction of the beach or pool while they held my luggage until my room was ready. This made me feel so welcomed and it was a great start to my vacation. The room was large and spotless. The bed is comfy. The shower size and water pressure was perfect. Keep in mind, walls are thin and you will hear everything going on in the hallways. And the best part, location and beach service. With only a 5 minute walk to the beach (2 blocks), and being welcomed by professional staff to set up a lounger with towels, amazing! I truly felt as if I was at a 5 star resort. I ordered food and drinks right from my lounger; it was pure relaxation. Umbrellas are available for purchase. When I was done with the beach, I came back to the hotel. My room was ready and guest services walked my bags up to the room and provided more information about hotel services and local shops, such as Walgreens one block away ( great for purchasing water and snacks). I headed straight to the pool on the rooftop and was welcomed by breathtaking views. Later, I enjoyed dinner and drinks in the hotel restaurant with super fast service. I loved it! 5 stars all around. I can’t wait to come back and stay again.

If I travel back to Miami, I would stay at this property again, the room was very clean, the front desk check in staff was polite and friendly, The restaurant in the hotel has good food, I would say my only complaint is the cleaning staff is not friendly, and they do not speak English, One of the cleaning ladies walked in my room and failed to announce themselves or knock, otherwise than that, I would recommend this hotel.

Well I paid for a ocean view which was $300 bucks more for my stay I ended up on the 7th floor which was by far a ocean view.. The manager did refund my resort fee but still.. Then when I went to my room some strange maintenance man was in there, later that night they came in my room while I was gone and left a bottle of wine which was nice but I do not like people in my room while I’m not there.. Things got better but our last night I woke up burning up the air conditioning went out throughout the entire building so I was sweating bullets until we checked out.. After resort fee refund I still paid 900 bucks to stay here for 3 nights considering all the mishaps.. A bottle of wine (which I’m not a drinker) did not suffice.. I’ve stayed here in the past it will probably be my last… I didn’t have any problems the past few times

the sewer like water that was out front was less than desirable .. not sure if something was being worked on but we were there for 3 days and the water was there. valet was efficient. a little pricey but kinda worth i suppose because parking garage might have been more per day. simple check-in. quiet time there. would stay again

This hotel charges a 300 dollar deposit at checking " just incase you take things from the mini bar". As a person that travelers frequently, this is embarrassing and insulting. Who charges a 300 dollar deposit. Thanks spring breakers for putting all of us in this category. And it can take up to 14 days to get your deposit back. Ridiculous!
