I liked that this felt nostalgic staying at a state lodge versus a chain. And the proximity to Sylvan Lake and Custer State Park couldn't be beat!
The onsite restaurant and bar we very nice. (The S'More martini was especially good!)
My wife prefers a bathroom with more counter space, but if that is worst you can say about a property like this, you're living pretty good. (The shower did take a little time to warm up, but once it did it was wonderful and stayed hot the entire time.)
