Great hotel for an overnight stay out of the hurricane craziness. We lost power at our home and needed a comfortable bed, ac, food, not too far from our home. Hotel was clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean room. Amenities were nice but didnt use bc of arriving late and raining. Breakfast- my kids said it was good, tho didnt love paying for my 14yo to eat. 13 and under eat free, so my 12yo did get to eat for free, but I paid 11$ for my 14yo. I do feel all children should eat free, especially for the price we paid for the room.
Parking was not clear, so we parked further than we needed to. Once checked in we were told our key gets us into their parking but I didnt want to go out in the rain, late at night to repark. It would have been helpful if it was posted so i couldve parked at the entrance, checked in, then driven right into their gated parking closer to the entrance. It looked as though valet or parking further away was the only options.
Those two things are only small complaints that now that i know, I'd adjust accordingly in the future. The staff, rooms, amenities, closeness of places to eat & groceries if needed were definitely great and i recommend the hotel.
