"Location of hotel and food was great. However we were advised at check-in that there was an event that night that would continue till midnight. Loud is an understatement, had we been informed prior to the trip we would have considered alternative accommodation. It would have been a great review had it not been for the noise."

"We loved this short stay with our extended family. Very well equipped and something for everyone, young and old. Very clean, loads of space and lots of facilities. Loved the enclosed paddock area for the dog and some good walks nearby. The outdoor seating areas are excellent. It would have been good to know in advance that there wasn't a cafetiere in the kitchen or shower gel in the bathrooms especially as the place was so well stocked but this is a simple update of the property details. ...

The restaurant (Cleone's Italian) was a surprise bonus with great food and the Paradiso ice-cream sundae was absolutely supreme. "Stayed here for a 2 night break. Friendly welcome and a lovely room (The Hayloft). Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and cereal to start and a nice home cooked breakfast. Great touch with having a toaster on the table to toast the delicious bread and enjoy the marmalade. Breakfast was efficient with no waiting. Liz and John have a delightful place for a stay."
