First, the positives: The location of this property was excellent. It is within walking distance of nearly all the tourist sites we wanted to visit. It was also close to the subway, which we took to Dazaifu. The room we were in had lovely shoji paneled beds, which gave more privacy than most hotel rooms its size. It also had separate toilet and shower rooms. We liked that it had a small kitchen. Ken was very friendly and helpful.
The negatives: the neighborhood noise is loud in the apartment, including at 1 in the morning. It's part of having a good location. Thanks to previous reviewers, we were prepared and put up a blanket in the window and brought ear plugs to dampen the sound, which mostly worked. The only other thing is it is an apartment, not a hotel, so there is no one on duty in the lobby, no pool, no TV in the apartment, and taxi drivers don't know where it is. We were ok with this, but thought it worth pointing out.
Overall, we were happy with our stay.
