I stayed for two days at Holiday Beach Resort, rooms are comfortable and clean. I was alone and originally had a 1st floor ground suite which I was a little scared to be in, and they were nice to change my room to the 3rd floor for me.
Unfortunately, the beach isn't the greatest.. the white sand is very rocky - you have to wear sandals up until you're closer to the water because it is so hard to walk on - and the water also gets deep very fast. I can see why not much people have gone in the water. I ended up taking a day trip to Mambo Beach to get some great beach time.
Overall, for a two day stay, I would recommend the hotel but only if you aren't planning on staying on resort grounds. There wasn't anything open on the resort (bars, snacks, car rental place & excursion office were all closed during my two day stay).
The only great bonus for food is having the 24 hour Denny's restaurant that is attached to the resort on the outside.
Otherwise, comfy rooms and friendly hotel staff for a quick place to stay.
