We left Mandalay Bay to be closer to the strip. Park was close, though behind other buildings, and affordable (beware of $50/night resort fees added). We had 1.5hrs to check in and get ready for a dinner, as we had just came from a wedding at the Grand Canyon. When we arrived, we checked in rather quickly and went up to the room. The keys didnt work. I called customer service, hoping they could fix it. After about 5 minutes, my wife decided she would just walk down while I watched the luggage. 15min later (while still on hold with the front desk) she came back to say they had given us the wrong room number.
The room was kinda disappointing. The "art" was mismatched retro-chic framed pictures that didnt look good alone or together, the wall paper was peeling at the seams in the bathroom, and the curtain was broken and couldn't be raised more than 1ft (I ended up fixing it with my tools). Went to grab waters and the vending machine was off and since your key wont let you go to another floor, options were $8 drinks from downstairs. I told them about the machine and was told it would be fixed but 2 days later, it still was off. The room also smelled like stale smoke according to my pregnant wife and tho the sheets were clean, they had a big stain on em. Plus someone kept banging on our walls at 4AM, waking us.
All in all, we had bad luck with the room I think, and the hotel (and staff) were pretty nice, but after coming from Mandalay, which was cheaper, I was very disappointed.
