We were excited to stay here because it was under new management but it’s still the same rundown place.
Families got stuck in both elevators while we were checking in.
The pictures of our balcony online were NOT what we got. The picture online was beautiful; you could see the boardwalk and the beach. What we got was the roof and maintenance view; my kids couldn’t even see the beach. The front desk said, “Yeah, we have been trying to get third-party sites to update the photos.”
Our room was so hot at night that we had a hard time sleeping. Had we not been in a room with a roof connecting all the rooms, we would have slept with the balcony door open, which was our plan before arriving. Listening to the ocean when you sleep is always a must for us when we visit the coast.
We live very busy lives, I wanted to come to the coast to do some relaxing and watching the ocean. I could not sit and relax and see the ocean, beach, and boardwalk like the pictures online showed.
Our sink did not drain well.
The pool was so cloudy you can barely see the bottom of it.
Our bathtub drain was broken so the kids couldn’t take a bath.
The water in the hot tub was low.
I selected to have my card run at check-in. My card was ran first thing in the morning of the day we were traveling.
If the payment is really due the morning you are supposed to check in then offering it for payment due at check in is false advertising.
Pro:
We loved the kitchenette but it had limited dishes.
