Main negative is no maps or quality directions, despite asking for this over six days. Tulum is in rapid buildout, so hotel providing map and directions is essential, since google maps is almost useless. The manager shares how easily he can get many maps, but he is busy entire week and I did not need it.
Hotel is still great since, rooms were excellent: large, clean, quiet, air conditioning, hot water, fridge, freezer, and unlimited water. Hotel included great WiFi, English speaking, free wine bottle, large breakfast, and rooftop restaurant with great view and breeze. Manager let us leave bags early for free, and we rented their bikes to see beaches and their resort art.
Tip: get gas at Mobil, to avoid double billing (see reviews).
So hotel is great, but without a map or directions, and we are not going back to Tulum.
