Expedia are our “go to” holiday provider/agent. We’ve been loyal customers of yours for over 10 years now, spending thousands with you and your partner organisations. We regularly recommend you to our family, friends and colleagues as we regularly receive exceptional service. However, surprisingly for us, our experience at Divi Heritage did not live up to previous experiences of holidaying with you. Given the images and write up in the advert we were seriously let down by the accommodation. Had we known the condition of the room we would never have booked this hotel and would not recommend anyone to stay there. Sadly, there were no towels in the room - I had to ask for them *and* when we returned after our evening out they had not been delivered. We had none. Cupboard doors were missing. Then fridge was damaged and rusting. The bathrm taps fell away from the wall when turned on. The hot tub was dirty, tap didn’t work. There were large gaps all around the doors and windows allowing mosquitos in and the shutters were not closeable - we had to put bedsheets up at the doors and windows to try to help and keep the air con on coldest setting. There was only 1 tiny lumpy pillow each and no additional blankets. Handles were missing on cupboards. Lamp shade missing and light bulbs blown. Safe battery so low it didn’t work. This was the worst experience we have had booking a hotel with you and feel strongly that the hotel was misrepresented ruining our NYE experience.
