We have stayed there three or four times now. Over the past few years they did a complete remodel inside and out. The room struck me as being very pretty when I first walked in. Also, the resturant is now open during regular resturant hours, which gives guests more flexibility.
We like the location because it is on the Buda side so it is a relatively easy walk to the castle, the Citedella, and across the river to the main shopping district.
The only negative I can think of is if walking is difficult, then you may be taking cabs to multiple places. But cabs in BP are not that expensive so that could be OK.
Oh, and they prefer you pay for your stay in cash; either forints or euros. That can be a bit of a surprise if you do not expect it.
I am sure we will stay there again.
