Great Location, but the Room Desperately Needs Renovations
On paper, this property sounded like everything we wanted, but our experience inside the room made us want to leave immediately. The entire space is heavily outdated and in dire need of a remodel.
We encountered several major issues during our stay:
Cleanliness & Health: The bed sheet had a visible stain, and whenever we turned the heat on, there was an overwhelmingly strong smell of mold—so much so that we left the establishment feeling sick.
Maintenance: The shower dripped constantly, the dishwasher wouldn't open, and the key card didn't work on the back door. The TV channels were mostly static; the property really needs to upgrade to Roku TVs.
Communication: Management’s response time was lagging. Worse, we were never given a heads-up that the water would be shut off for hours during the day.
On the positive side, the location is great, the price was fair, and my kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. However, for a nice location, the room itself was just bad. 9 times out of 10, I would not stay here again unless major modifications are made first. I am currently still waiting on the return of my deposit and proper accommodation for the extended water outage.
