A gorgeous countryside retreat!
My husband and I cannot rave enough about our amazing stay at Villa Zammarra. Antonio, our host, was the most patient, hospitable, and caring host anyone could ask for. He gave us excellent recommendations for local places and restaurants. The villa was immaculate and our room had incredible views of the wildflower-strewn countryside leading all the way to the sea. Conveniently located near Noto, Marzamemi, and Ragusa, the villa is also less than an hour from busy Syracuse. So much to see when all we wanted to do was hike the countryside and play with Antionio’s litter of puppies! We will be back!

Get away form in all in South East Sicily
Villa Zammarra is a wonderful B&B for those looking for a base to explore this wonderful part of Sicily. Perched by itself atop a little hill amongst pastures and carob groves, the views take in both the Ionian and Mediterranean sea. Film buff Antonio is a genial host who gave us great tips about local sights that are off the tourist trail, as well as all the practical information that we needed. The building itself is the old family farmhouse that was converted a decade ago. It has all the mod cons that you'd expect from a B&B whilst retaining it's rustic charm; The dining room is a converted stable adorned with farming tools from yesteryear.

Soggiorno in un luogo davvero unico
Villa Zammarra è un posto splendido, unico nel suo genere, con la storia raccontata in prima persona dai proprietari. Una storia famigliare di tradizioni che ha portato alla decisione di trasformare l'antica villa in una luogo incredibilmente accogliente. La nostra stanza era con i letti originali della nonna della proprietaria, unica nota dolente la temperatura molto bassa nonostante l'aria calda accesa. Ma la struttura è idonea per accogliere ospiti in altra stagione (anche per la piscina esterna), però ne è valsa la pena. Per essere stati accolti con anche un bicchiere di rosso artigianale e pasticceria tipica, per la colazione con tutti prodotti freschi e biologici e naturali come non mai, per aver ascoltato pezzi di storia della regione, di Noto e della zona circostante, per tutte le informazioni utili che ci hanno consentito di amare ancor di più la Sicilia. Imprescindibile andare in visita in questa zona e non soggiornare qui, il giardino, le piante, i fiori e la visuale sono senza paragoni. Era questo che cercavamo e qui lo abbiamo trovato.

Liebevoll restauriertes Landhaus
..wir waren für 2 Übernachtungen Gats im toll restaurierten Landhaus von Antonio. Obewohl die Buchung von Expedia verschlampt wurde, bekamen wir ein Zimmer. das alndhaus ist leibevoll restauriert worden und liegt in iydillischer, abgeschiedener Lage mit herrlichem Ausblick auf die Landschaft. Das Frühstück mit selbstgemachten Zutaten ist toll und sehr lecker. Auch das Angebot zum Abendessen sollte man nicht ausschalgen, er kocht sehr gut und man lenrt viel über die Sizillianische Küche. Alles in allem sehr empfehelenswert und wir kommen wieder!!!

Location suggestiva nel pieno della tipica natura siciliana. Tranquillo e molto ben gestito. Il titolare è molto bravo e preparato. Ha fatto di tutto per farci sentire come in famiglia.
