A few days before we were supposed to arrive, I received an email that travelocity and the hotel were not communicating very well and that they had double booked our room, and asked if we would be okay with their only other available room that would fit all of us. I felt like I had little choice at that point. We had originally booked the sea view room--the place is right across the street from the water--and that would have been nice. Instead we were all the way at the back of the hotel, the only light coming through the skylight over the bed up in the loft. Still, the room was perfectly fine, and actually cheaper, though the second bed for our daughter was apparently like a rock, so she shared the somewhat small sofa bed with her brother. Ariadne was very nice and helpful to us in arriving at the hotel. She didn't have a lot of information about the attractions, trying to check google whenever we asked about something, which I had already done. We saw the owner once. She seemed nice enough. No breakfast, but they did leave us some treats in the room which we ate for dinner our first night, since our ferry was late. I would stay here again, but would contact the hotel and make sure everything was confirmed well ahead of time. Also, get there before 8 pm in the summer, because otherwise you can't drive up to the hotel.
