Regarding the hotel: The hotel facilities are rather simple; the water in the pool was not inviting (not clear) and the dining area was very dark and uninviting as well. The main point to critizise, however, is the service. The reception team is very unfriendly and - worse to that - lie to the customers: As a bottle of water was very expensive in the hotel (8,50 Fiji $), we asked whehter there is a supermarket nearby. We were told that it is Sunday and thall shops are closed on Sundays. Luckily, another guest said that there is a big supermarket next door which is open. The lady from the reception, however, repeated in a harsh tone that all shops are closed. In fact, this was absolutely untrue. We went to the supermarket and it was regularly open every Sunday!! Thus, she intenditely lied to us. I have never before experienced anything like this.
