This time, however, it was a disaster. I had specifically requested a quiet room with a nice view when I made my reservation. Instead, I was given a room overlooking black rooftops and noisy air conditioning unitsâabsolutely terrible.
From room 205, starting from the very first night, I could hear the noise from the plumbingâŠ
On top of that, when I asked about the airport shuttle schedule, the answers I received were completely off-topic. The staff member who checked me in seemed totally clueless. In the end, I didnât even stay for the last night I had paid for.
The Wedgewood Resort in Fairbanks is a much better option, even if itâs not as close to downtown. The small downtown area itself is charming, with several international restaurants to choose from."
"We had a problem with arriving 04/13/2025. At four PM, the room was not ready. Later a first room was given but when coming in, it has not been cleaned. A second room was attributed but it was the same. Then a third room was given and it was update. This courtesy has been appreciated by my wife and me. Except that incident the stay in this hotel was perfect. "
