The first room the refrigerator wasn’t working. Switch to different room n tv was disconnected. Took 30 min to reboot. Maintance man was great. Very patient fixing tv. Also lamp was broken. Light bulb was hanging out of the socket.

I stay at La Quinta Hotels quite often because they usually offer a clean room and decent service for a good price. I did not get that at this Redding location. There were holes (large ones) in a towel, mold in the shower and a roach wandering around in the bathroom. The lock on the rear entrance to the building didn't work so they kept that security door unlocked all day. When I mentioned all this to the person behind the counter all she did was give me a mock look of concern and just dismissed it all. No apology or anything. I know there are better La Qiuntas out there but this one in Redding California is not one of them.

Bed was clean and comfortable but room floor could have been cleaner. Aging hotel. Breakfast waffle was good but eggs, bacon and potato containers were empty. Would probably choose somewhere else next time.

The beds are super comfortable, but our room had an horrible smell and the hallway was filthy. Baseboards were coming off the wall and the pillows had stains. It may have had the la Quinta inn name but was very far from La Quinta standards. Spend the extra 30 dollars and go to the holiday inn next door

The remote control for the tv didn't work properly the refrigerator was making loud noise the bathroom door wouldn't shut all the way because the hindges were lose and the tolit was running like it had just been flushed last there was a leak in the bathroom not sure if it wasfrom the sink or the toilet so there was water on the floor and now housekeeping was available.

Stopped here on our drive back from Washington for a quick rest. Room was decent for what we needed. Did not get to try the breakfast as we were in a hurry to leave the next day to continue our trip. Overall average stay and definitely smelled better than the previous hotel we stayed on our way through Redding.

A truly one-of-a-kind experience, and not in a good way. As we walked up the stairs to our room, there was vomit in the stairwell. The room smelled musty. The sheets had a large brown stain on them. Half of the lights in the room for some reason didn’t even work. And we opted not to use the shower, since the previous guest’s soap was still in there.

Hotel was worn. Elevator floor was pretty dirty and sticky. Soiled spots on hallway carpet and in our room (pet friendly hotel). I will say that the staff was very helpful and friendly, though!

Worst La Quinta I've ever stayed at. No room cleaning the whole time. Beds were horrible. Felt like they were 20 years old. Super outdated and in disrepair. No please do not disturb signs. Severely under staffed. Hotel outside door left permanently unlocked. Shower drain plugged. All lights were unplugged when we arrived. Smelled bad in room and hallways.

The hotel is showing its age. We have stayed here multiple times over the past couple years and this is the first time the stay was not up to par. There were a million stains in the carpet. Not to add that there were smells of weed coming strongly from the hall. And my son counted 54 cigarettes. On a no smoking property by the was The pool was very clean but cold. And the the breakfast did not have many options. The air conditioner smelled like dirty diapers every time we would leave for 30 minutes to a hour. If you want a low expectation hotel I would recommend this but in gernel I would not.

The key card was filthy and had a sticky film on it. They ran out of key cards so we only got 1 card. The shower had black mold on the walls and wall was gross behind the toilet. There was brown stains on the ceiling above the bed. The air conditioner smelled disgusting and didn’t cool the room down very well. It was a disappointing stay.

Stayed here just passing through. The premises are tolerable for a one night stay. Everything was clean-ish but run down and unkempt. Bed was comfortable, pillows were lame. Shower pressure was good and water was hot but shower curtain was old and wouldn’t shut properly or stay shut.

Cama maravilhosa! Grande, espaçosa, confortável e alta! Quarto muito espaçoso, e com muitas tomadas. Ficamos ao todo 6 dias no hotel, o café da manhã no primeiro dia foi incrível e a cada dia que passava tinha menos itens no café da manhã. No ultimo graças a deus voltaram com os ovos. Mas em um dos dias perguntamos até se viria mais alguma coisa no café da manhã e o homem bem secamente disse: não, terá só isso mesmo. Serviço de quarto era preciso solicitar antes já que não era feito diariamente, o que até então ok, para alguns hoteis é assim. Porém no terceiro dia quando finalmente solicitamos que arrumassem o quarto disseram que não iriam conseguir, mas iriam tentar nos encaixar para a limpeza. No TERCEIRO dia de hospedagem sem limpeza. No final das contas acabaram arrumando no sábado, antes de irmos embora no domingo. Staff da recepção foi sempre gentil com a gente, exceto com o lance da limpeza do quarto. O hotel de maneira geral parece que não se importam mais com o cuidado dele em si.. um pouco de desleixo com hotel da década de 80 que um dia foi muito bom.

I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and paid $274 for two nights in a room with two queen beds. While the staff were genuinely kind and helpful, the overall condition of the hotel was disappointing — especially for a property associated with the Wyndham name. The room itself was very outdated: Popcorn ceiling, a broken table that felt unstable, carpet had a strong musty odor, the walls smelled old, almost like a lingering smoke smell from years ago, no toilet paper holder in the bathroom, the bathroom was very old (outdated fixtures and tile) — though at least it was clean. The room door had visible cracks, didn’t align properly, and felt poorly sealed. On top of that, the side entrance door was broken — it had no card reader or security system, and was simply propped open with a rock. That’s a serious safety issue, especially for families or solo travelers. Check-in was another downside. The hotel registration system was extremely slow, which led to long wait times and understandably annoyed customers. I felt bad for the front desk team who were clearly doing their best with a system that was out of their control. Hopefully, Wyndham’s IT team sees this and updates the system for a faster, more efficient check-in process. I didn’t try the continental breakfast, so I can’t speak to that. The beds were OK — not uncomfortable, but nothing special either. Overall, I was expecting much more from this property given the brand. With some real investment in updates and securit
