The Taba Sands was in fact listed as 5star, it was not! this is not an opinion but rather fact! on other sites this hotel is listed lower & in their own lobby they have a sign that says that it is 4star. the service is like a 1 star!
Upon arriving a staff member commented on my wife's body, she was dressed in modest wear as to respect the surroundings and yet it was still commented on. They than proceeded to speak to us in Hebrew even tho we are American, the first time we nicely corrected them and called it an honest mistake. When we came down for breakfast the next Morning after a sleepless night, a random hotel member approached me and asked me if my name was ****, when i responded yes, already confused why he knew my name he said my name was Israeli and just switched to speaking Hebrew and winked at me as if i understood. i was extremely thrown off and felt Judged and stereotyped as well I had no clue what he was saying and no amount of explaining and proving i'm American helped! this is unacceptable
it seemed that the whole "town" had our information as the hotel did not keep our privacy! We had been speaking to an outside agency about a trip & purposely did not share our number with them as we were not sure we were comfortable sharing our number until we confirmed. 5 minutes after getting back to the safety of our room we receive a call from a guy from the outside agency by the front desk, the front desk allowed the guy to call us from their phone!
