This is a fantastic hotel, within the old fortress at Novi Sad and with amazing views over the Danube and the city. A little bit away from the main town centre, but taxis are cheap by UK standards and with four restaurants inside the fortress you don't have to trek into town for the evening.
The staff were very friendly and helpful - printed off our boarding passes from online checkin for example.
The double rooms on the first floor are more expensive but better rooms, the cheaper rooms on the second floor are in the attic (old servants quarters no doubt), comfortable but lack the views and ambience.
A few niggles: several of our group had problems with the Air-con; the water temperature in the shower in my room did not stay constant at all; and they charged EUR5 for losing a plastic card-key - which for a EUR100 per night hotel is a bit much. But overall, the best place in town if you can afford it.
