I knew there would be a problem when we first walked in. The man checking us in seemed confused and was acting like we were a bother. Maybe he was confused because there were no other guests.
Then he brought us to our room; to say it looked unkept and outdated would be generous. The furniture was chipped, peeling and stained. I’ve noticed beds in Thailand tend to be firmer, fine, but the pillows were 6inches thick and rock hard, and there was no comforter, only a sheet. I’ve never had my arms fall asleep while sleeping on my back, until now. Moving to the bathroom: the tub was rusted, missing tiles were not replaced, and ironically there was a note about being charged for dirty towels as the one I used had a softball sized hole in the middle. It wasn’t until the next morning, after a sleepless night, that we saw the rest of the hotel in the light of day, which solidified our decision to find another hotel. The pool was dirty and mucky. Even if that interests you, you couldn’t get to it because the path to the pool was blocked by overturned pool chairs.
I DO NOT recommend this place. Would not be surprised if it closed soon.
