We have been returning guests to the Radisson Blu Bond Street Hotel for many years, because, the central location is just unbeatable. But I think this was the last time, we stayed here and we cancelled our reservations for 2025 right away:
During our last two stays (usually two nights), the housekeeping staff didn‘t make up our room after the first night! When asking in the evening of the second day to have the room made, the response from the reception staff was, that there is no housekeeping staff in the hotel anymore and there’s nothing they can do. When asking for a manager, we’ve been provided a business card, as the manager is not reachable on weekends and asked to send him an e-mail on Monday!
During this stay we asked for a second chair in the room (we booked/paid the Double Room Premium category, but we had the impression we got a single room). This second chair was not provided during our stay.
For nearly 300 GBP/night, such requests should be solved right away.
The only thing that the staff at the reception offered us, was breakfast for free. Besides this no ability/willingness to get problems solved on the spot. These we apparently have to sort out with the manager on weekdays - once we have left London!
