I made reservations the same day through Expedia, only to realize there is a three day notice required. I was not granted accommodations and had to find somewhere else to stay. Tried to cancel it through the app and it would not let me. The hotel sends me a pretentious message (a few hours later) written as if they tried contacting me days before when that would be impossible as my booking was on the day I needed the room for. Expedia charged my card on behalf of this hotel— it’s been almost 3 months and I’m still fighting the hotel & Expedia for my refund. Please work on your customer service. I’ve reached out on watsapp and on Expedia with no solution from you. It doesn’t make sense. I call continuously, have sent numerous messages and no one has gotten back to me as yet to confirm my refund. Please let Expedia know that I was not accommodated so that my card can be refunded. Cancelling within 24hrs (less than an hour in my case) is legal and should be included in your clause. Anything else is predatory. Do not be a predatory business where you take money without hosting individuals then deny refund. That’s what you have done in my case. God Bless You! I wish you peace. May your business be better.
