We had booked this hotel solely to get a few hours of sleep before our next flight. Upon arrival at the airport, we had to wait until 1:15 a.m. for the shuttle, thinking it ran continuously, but that wasn’t the case. We arrived at the hotel around 1:30 a.m. and quickly checked in. We were given room 304, supposedly a family room for two adults and two children. However, to our surprise, there were only three beds – one double bed and one single bed.
I went to the reception to request an additional bed, and they assured me they would take care of it. After waiting several minutes, a security guard arrived to understand the situation. I explained, he went to the reception, but still no update for another 15 minutes. Finally, I went back to the reception, where I was informed that they had no four-person rooms available, only these rooms, and a makeshift bed on the floor, which was extremely uncomfortable and not at all suitable for someone needing decent rest between flights.
I tried to negotiate a better solution, but the receptionist was inflexible, tense, and unhelpful. He didn’t attempt to provide an adequate solution, despite our request for compensation for this shortfall. After long discussions, nearly until 3 a.m., he finally brought four duvets and several sheets in a terrible condition as a supposed solution.
