I stayed there one night only and had a very early flight to catch, so I decided not to stay in Trondheim city but at the airport. You can walk a few minutes to the airport, very convenient.
The hotel is good, breakfast selection was great, restaurant very tasty as well. A bit pricy, but I guess this is everywhere in Norway.
The pool was nice and the sauna with view over the area (7th floor). At the time I was there I had pool & sauna for myself, very nice!
The bed was horrible, probably one of the softest mattresses I've ever slept on. This is personal preference for sure, but I could not sleep there. I decided to sleep on the floor instead. There was a ventilation in my room which was impossible to switch off - it ran all night! Noise was disturbing and the wind from the ventilation actually drove me crazy, so I moved (on the floor) a few times not to have the wind in my face.
Maybe I was just unlucky with my room. The hotel itself is good, but the room I had was just horrible.
