The hotel is right in the middle of the downtown harbor district. It's very touristy, but you're about a block away from the tourist attractions so you don't have the noise from that.
Parking is on-street and you have to pay for it, unless you want to drive a couple of (short residential) blocks east to find something.
It's a converted residence, so check with the hotel if you have mobility issues. I was in room 104 and had to sit in the tub to use the shower because the ceiling was too low. Also, a task light over the built-in desk would have been helpful.
Having said all of that, the staff is great, the breakfast was good and it was a great place to stay.
