My stay at Best Western Metropoli was very enjoyable! The location of this hotel is perfect in many ways. Close to Palazzo Ferrari and all the sites in Genoa. Plus, very conveniently located to transportation, dining and shopping. The staff ware very friendly, kind and accommodating! This was a great place to stay with young kids and explore the city from. Not too far from the main station via the underground train. On the edge of the old city. Staff were great particularly with the children. A room with bunk beds was perfect for us. Air conditioning was very welcome in the hot climate.

Enjoyable stay
Brilliant location - close to everything and easy to reach with the airport bus (Volabus). Plenty of good restaurants, bars etc in easy walking distance. Superior room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. Air con battled a bit on the super hot days (35 degrees). But this is normal in Italy. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was very good. All staff were kind and incredibly helpful - proactive (not just responsive) to our needs.

From the start we were welcomed by an incredibly friendly and helpful team of girls at the front desk. The genuine nature of the receptionists continued throughout our short stay, which made it more enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable for our family of four.
