We booked this property in June to stay in September, we travelled over from the Isle of Man for a dance competition 2 adults 3 children. While on the train at 5pm we checked in online and didn’t received a key code for the door, so txt the number available to be told there was no stay booked as there had been a fire at the property at some point! The distress this caused having to find somewhere at such short notice with children was extremely overwhelming and stressful and to only be told sorry contact Expedia. Why didn’t anybody contact us? Imagine we had turned up at that house afew hours later, in the dark with nowhere to stay! Something has gone wrong with the communication between the property owner and Expedia but that’s not our fault…. will not use Expedia again after this!
