Manathai Ko Samui
We definitely do not recommend this hotel for the following reasons. This is not a real beach hotel, because you can not call the location at the beach.
This is not a good business hotel, because the internet does not work well.
The lobby, hotel rooms and breakfast room are situated in a lovely colonial-style building, in the middle of this building, atrium style, is a second swimming pool, with shadow, facing the breakfast area.
The main swimming pool with sea view, the fitness room and a restaurant are situated across the street.
This is a very busy ring-road, although a friendly guard is helping you every time to cross the road this still remains dangerous, children can not cross the road without an adult.
The pool area is ok, however there is no real beach.
Next to the pool area is a fishermann place with fishing boats, the sea was during our stay extremely dirty as was the whole beach on the island.
The storm Pabuk hit the island 3 weeks before our stay, this might be one of the reasons for the huge amount of debris laying everywhere.
But nevertheless the beach is very small and not nice.
The fitness room consist in 1 cross trainer, 1 treadmill, 1 bycicle and 1 multi-exercise machine, it is ok for a simple workout.
The hotel room has a nice decoration, the room is not large, to open 2 suitcases is complicated.
The bathroom is small but ok.
The breakfast buffet was very good, they offered a large choice, like tasteful Bircher muesli, cheese, cold
