Like other people have already mentioned, there is no Hotel staff on site so you're pretty much left to your own devices. When checking in I was greeted by the restaurant’s chef who had to phone someone to come and bring the keys to my room which included a ten minute wait.
Since the rooms are located above the restaurant, it is quite loud in the evening and late at night – especially when your room faces the street and people leave the restaurant talking loudly. I had a problem during my stay and couldn’t reach anyone via telephone so I wrote an email. Although I did get a reply and the person promised to do something, the problem wasn’t dealt with.
On one day I had to leave early and wasn’t able to grab breakfast – breakfast starts at 8 on weekends. The second day, I saw that it said on the breakfast menu that you could get a lunch bag should you have to leave before breakfast hours. Although I had discussed my having to leave early one day and possibly missing breakfast with the person who checked me in, she unfortunately didn't mention the lunch bag option.
The room was clean and had everything I needed for two nights, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again for the above mentioned reasons.
