it is very isolated resort hotel. there is almost nothing around it. although the facilities are slightly run down and old, it still worth visiting if you are after nature itself and quiet get away from city and crowd. the hotel provide half-board option with breakfast and dinner -- we stayed three nights, and for the first two nights, we almost had the entire hotel to ourselves, and the staff gave us choice of japanese or wetern for breakfast, and prepared dinner course meal (Japanese style with slight touch of western). On the last day, we had many new guests checked-in and had breakfast buffet. The food is generally great, but after four days, I think I had enough. You need a car to get here, and to go to the nearest convinence store, which is about 5min drive away. On the hotel properties, there is no other restaurant, bar operational but vending machines. Even the pool side bar is not fully open. Still we loved our stay because we enjoyed our solitude and used the pool like private one. Hope to see some improved maintenance of the rooms and facilities.
