I stayed 3 nights in the New Palm Tree Hotel, at the beginning of March 2014. I was very happy to have found this nice and quiet hotel, as a single woman it is sometimes not easy to feel confortable and safe without spending a fortune. This was one of the best hotels I had in Kenya, and as it is situated in a central position I did not even need to take a tuk tuk to visit the old town, just 5 minutes walk! The only thing that made me crazy was the booking, as I had booked through expedia and the woman at the reception kept telling me that my booking had been cancelled and insisted that I did not pay for any room. I had to insist that I had cancelled one booking but made another one for one week later, but it was not easy to convince her... The problem is with Expedia, as the booking number I had was different from the booking number which was in the booking system of the hotel. SO PLEASE @ Expedia: USE ONLY ONE BOOKING NUMBER, SO THAT THE BOOKINGS CAN BE EASILY FOUND!! THANKS
