We arrived slightly ahead of check-in, but our eco tent was already available which we really appreciated. The tent itself is a very nice experience, also as they are located about 5 mins walk from the center (less busy). The tent was very clean, had a comfy bed and a good aircon and is equipped with a small separate bathroom. Besides the scheduled turtle tours, there is effectively not much you can do around (besides three hikes in the hills). Now coming to the main reason for the visit: the turtle tours. Be aware, that this place can get VERY busy (we stayed there on a local weekend). We were really surprised to see the huge number of people for the evening tour (around 150-200). Nevertheless, they seem to manage these number quite okish (people were grouped to 25, hotel guests first), split between international and locals. With about 10 mins distance every group walks down to the beach (around 10 mins walk). The guides will look for a turtle that is nesting and will bring the group there (guiding people how to behave (no flashes/torches, no approach from the front ...). We were also lucky to see a baby (only one that survived a fox) which we escorted to the ocean. It seems they are not interfering here which I think it completely wrong. They call it "That's Nature", but given that green turtles are an endangered species (due to the interference of mankind), I would expect more protections to the hatchlings. I further highly recommend the morning tour (way LESS busy)
