Best hotel ever! If you want privacy definitely book a honeymoon suite. The rooms with infinity pools are great but have no privacy. We were honeymooners, so we booked a honeymoon suite. When we got there, as a gift, we've been upgraded for 2 nights to a :"plunge suite" with a pool inside the room and Jacuzzi outside. It was nice for 2 days, but with the pool inside, the air got so humid that, despite the air-conditioning running on its lowest 18C, we could hardly sleep. Otherwise great! Our next room was a private villa with a separate entry, huge bed, small kitchen, 2 toilet areas. Very nice. Thank you Pegasus!
Imerovigli is the village to stay at if you want privacy and calmness. Everyone said that Oia is the best, but after seeing Santorini, I have to say: Oia is beautiful and has lots of unique shops, jewellery too, charming foot paths. But due to its shops the paths get clogged. It was frustrating to be stuck due to tourists gathering in the narrow alleys; Fira as the island's capital is busy with lots of traffic. The rest of the villages are far, but if you rent an ATV or motorbike, you can easily go anywhere.
