When we arrived by metro at Valle Aurelia, the walk was about a half mile but all uphill, very narrow and bumpy “sidewalks”, and lots of traffic. We found the b&b on google maps, but there wasn’t much in the way of signage. We buzzed at the gate several times and wondered if we’d ever gain entrance and eventually, someone buzzed the gate open for us. He was friendly and helpful. The room was adequate for sleeping. Very simple accommodations and thin walls. Tiny shower and loud plumbing. Could hear the metro all night. Breakfast consisted of one sugary stale cereal, yogurt and juice. We were given 4 keys for entry: the gate, building door, b&b door, and key to our room. When we arrived in late one night, the other guest had to let us in after knocking hard because we couldnt get the key to work. All in all, I would not recommend it. It wasn’t even convenient to St Peters. Again, hill, traffic and poor sidewalks.
