From the moment we tried to walk into the hotel lobby and the door was locked, I knew there was going to be issues! After finally walking around the back of the hotel to at least find a person/door open, we walked into the lobby to no-one. When someone finally appeared, he gave us a room key and asked for our passports to keep. He placed them in the cubbie, behind the desk and said we can get them when we leave...I said not a chance are you leaving my passport out in the open and requested them back.
Once finally in the room, the ac was off, no lights in the hallway and stained towels in the bathroom "due to a leak under the sink"( it's like they were nickel and diming on saving money). If you would like a bad back after 4 nights, book this joint...next time (which there wont be) I choose to sleep on the floor because I know the floor would be much more comfortable! If you have ever seen an episode of Fawlty Towers, this was it!
On the plus side, Maria seemed to be the only person doing everything. She made up our room, served breakfast, made coffee and pretty much was on hand for us (we were the only people there). I'm actually wondering how Expedia allows this hotel on their platform?
