The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the JR Shinagawa Station, which mainly connects to the Yamanote line, serving the most important areas of Tokyo and connects to other Metro and private train lines. Including the NEX express service to Narita and a private line to Haneda Airports, and JR Shinkansen trains.
The hotel is clean, to the point, amenities are available at the reception from a table, together with free coffee and tea. You pick up what you need, as none are available in the room. Weird, but effective.
The only thing we didn't like, is that the A/C is centrally managed and it was really warm in the room with very little setting for the user. The duvet for the bed was too thick for the room temperature and the season. Otherwise the experience and service was very good.
The staff at the reception knows enough English for our needs. Plenty of restaurants and shopping/convenience stores close by.
Wifi was usable.
